Vineyard City of Light is a church that is affiliated to a body of hundreds of Vineyard churches located worldwide. Our Church was founded by Pastor George Govender and his wife Monique in 1985 and later passed on to Pastor Jessie Govender and his wife Celene in the year 2002 who continue to oversee the church to date. Pastor Jerome & his wife Charlene now serve the church as lead Pastors of our church..

We are a church focused on reaching out to lost and broken people, so we invest a lot of our time and resources to being relevant in our community. Our community projects include drug rehabilitation sessions, renovations of homes for the poor and needy, fun days for kids, free concerts & drama’s, feedings of the needy and counselling the hurting and much more. 

Our church is made up of about 300 down to earth and loving people, we pride ourselves on family and oneness. One of our high priorities is corporate intimate worship.
